Cofounders Ben Sebborn and Richard Dyer started Skiddle in 2001 initially as a what’s on guide, out of frustration for there not being enough online information for the events they love. Both gig promoters and big ravers, their passion for music events in the north of England and beyond formed the business’ bedrock, quickly expanding across the UK and further a field.

In 2006 we started selling tickets, and in the decade since have become one of the UK’s most loved ticketing services. We sell for all the big names, Reading & Leeds, Creamfields, Warehouse Project… even Rod Stewart (yep, he’s still going…), but we’re not a business that focuses solely on the well known brands. We love to get our hands dirty helping promoters grow boutique offerings, from intimate gigs and clubnights, through to grassroots festivals. Our staff are made up of an avid bunch of music fans, who are committed to making ticketing better.

Our clients include performing artistes, record companies, music publishers, production companies, agents, actors, film stars, TV personalities and many more.

We work closely with specialist lawyers and senior management to provide advice on contracts, tax planning, intellectual property rights and all other commercial issues.

We advise our clients on the most appropriate tax structure to minimise personal and corporate tax liabilities and assist with VAT, bookkeeping, billing and cash flow management for a number of artistes. Our dedicated team deals with all aspects of tour accounting, from initial budgets through to final results, and works with our Premier International partners to minimise the effects of overseas taxation.

We have a specialist team who undertake royalty audits, as well as desktop reviews to ensure the client has received their full entitlement of royalty revenues. The team also specialise in royalty accounting delivering all contractually required distributions with particular experience with independent record labels and publishing companies.

Additionally we provide: Valuations of Publishing/Recording catalogues and catalogue acquisitions; Royalty contract negotiation/advice (New or Renewing); Registration of Neighbouring Rights and Performance Rights.

Flare Audio is a British loudspeaker technology company which believes artistes and engineers, not loudspeakers, should create sound. Flare Audio products are built on the principle of Waveform Integrity: the signal that goes into the loudspeaker is precisely replicated by the sound wave that comes out. The loudspeaker should be sonically invisible, allowing the driver to deliver sound without interference. This uncorrupted sound retains all of its definition. It couples more efficiently, disperses evenly, enables maximum throw and is more controllable.

Sound connects all people, all things. Let your music, your message, your voice be heard clearly.
